Privacy policy

Your right to privacy and data security

The Adventure Capital Fund is registered as a data user under the Data Protection Act 1998. The Adventure Capital Fund is committed to maintaining your confidence and trust. Your right to privacy and data security is a primary concern.

Information Sharing Policy

The Adventure Capital Fund (ACF) has taken over the management of the Futurebuilders England (FBE) Fund with effect from 1st April 2008.  The investment funds, staff teams and processes of the two organisations will remain separate and all investment decisions will continue to be made through each organisation's own governance structures - in particular there will be two separate invesment committees, each independently chaired.

If an organisation applies to either ACF or FBE for funding the information provided in support of the application will not be shared between the Funds without the express permission of the applicant organisation.

The purpose of any such request to share information will be to ensure that as complete a picture is known of the organisation as possible to enable the respective Funds to make fully informed decisions on an application.  If an organisation is already in receipt of funds from either ACF or FBE and is making a further application for new funding, information sharing may be requested so that the Funds are placed in the best possible position to be able to continue to support an organisation.

This policy has been agreed by both ACF and ACFM - FBE and will be kept under review.
